Projects
We support projects that create meaningful change across the sector.
Projects
The Construction Growth Foundation (CGF) provides funding to projects that strengthen our four key strategic pillars across the New Zealand’s construction industry.
Building intelligence
Strengthening Capability
Amplifying Influence
Enhancing Sustainability
Funding is available primarily to CGF member associations, with a focus on initiatives that improve industry capability beyond vocational training.
Eligibility
Priority will be given to applications from CGF member associations.
Applications from non-CGF organisations may be considered, subject to the applicant demonstrating engagement with, and support/benefit for CGF association member/s.
Applications from individuals, or individual companies will not be considered.
This funding is not available in conjunction with other CGF funding options.
Funding criteria and conditions
Funds cannot be used to fund organisational operations (staffing, overheads, etc).
Funds may be used to engage contractor/s in support of project outcomes.
Applicants must demonstrate that project outcomes will benefit more than just the applying organisation and/or industry they represent.
The intended outcomes from a CGF-funded project must align with at least one of CGF’s strategic objectives outlined above.
Organisations that operate as Tertiary Education Organisations (TEOs, ‘providers’) (Institutes of Technology and Polytechnics (ITPs), Private Training Establishments (PTEs), Wānanga, and Universities) cannot apply for funds for delivery of training that would ordinarily be funded from Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) and learner enrolment fees.
Funding requests will not be considered when the request is to support core trade or vocational training i.e. up to and including Level 4 on the NZQA framework. CGF’s focus is on supporting post-qualification capability development, which does include further education and training.
