Q: What day would we leave to travel to Melbourne?
A: Depending on which international airport is closest to you, it will either be Sunday 14th June or Monday 15th June depending on flight availability.
Q: How many days will I be away?
A: 3 days in total = Monday 15th June to Wednesday 17 June.
Q: Are meals included?
A: Yes, meals will be covered by the Construction Growth Foundation
Q: Are flight costs included?
A: Yes, your flights will be paid for by the Construction Growth Foundation
Q: Are my hotel accommodation costs included?
A: Yes, your accommodation will be paid for by the Construction Growth Foundation
Q: Can I extend my stay?
A: Yes, you can extend your stay but you will need to cover the additional costs for accommodation and your expenses during this time.

Total value per attendee including course, travel and accommodation is estimated at $3,500.00
World‑Class Simulated Leadership Training
We are inviting expressions of interest from emerging and established residential construction leaders to participate in an exclusive simulated leadership training programme delivered at a state-of-the-art facility in Melbourne. This immersive experience places participants in realistic construction‑industry scenarios designed to strengthen leadership capability, decision‑making, communication, and team performance under pressure.

What You’ll Experience

World‑class training facility equipped with advanced technology and realistic worksite settings
Practical skill development in supervision, communication, safety leadership, conflict resolution, and team management

Eligibility Requirements
Be a current, paid‑up member of New Zealand Certified Builders Association (NZCB) or Master Builders, or an employee of a current NZCB or Master Builders member
Have support from your employer to take the required time off for the programme
Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) outlining your motivation and suitability
Important Information
Limited to 12 people only
The course will run on Tuesday 16 June 2026 in Melbourne
Participants must be available for a minimum of 3 days – this includes travel
Participants must arrange their own travel to a departure location: Auckland, Wellington, or Christchurch
The Construction Growth Foundation is supporting this initiative
Participants will be required to contribute $850.00 each towards this opportunity
